"Same here. Everything's wrong," Rowan nodded knowingly. "But I think I already told you that, right? Did you ever tell me what's bothering you? If you did I forgot."

"I think I did." He said, looking up at the sky. "I don't remember either."

Lior thought about it a little bit more. "Can I ask you a favor? Can I kiss you again?" He offered him a sweet smile.

Rowan gave Lior another weird look and edged away from him uncomfortably. "...NO," he said loudly, to make absolutely sure Lior would hear him refuse. "I mean I guess I'm flattered, in a weird way, but I only like girls."

"Oh. Well okay." He scooted closer to him, grinning. "Hey, I need to talk to you. This isn't about Alecis." Lior said, crossing his les and resting his head on his palm. "I like this clio. And they dont like me back!" He gave him a D= face. He took the bottle and took a swig from it, sighing somewhat contentedly.

Maybe if Rowan were sober he would have realized who this clio Lior was talking about was. [HM I WONDER COULD IT BE THE GUY HE KEEPS TRYING TO KISS???] But he wasn't sober, and he didn't realize.

"That sucks. I kind of know the feeling," Rowan replied empathetically. "Do I know this clio?"

Lior nodded subtly, his eyes very wide. "You know them better than I do."

"Really," Rowan replied monotonously. Then suddenly his eyes widened. Oh. OH. He turned to Lior, looking alarmed. "No," he said, hoping he was wrong.

Lior winced. "Sorry."

He looked away, his hand still in his palm. "Sorry."

"It's--it's okay..." Rowan said, though the tone of his voice contradicted his words. He had been weirded out when Alecis said she liked him, and she was a chick. How was he supposed to react to it from LIOR? "I mean...it's, um, wow--unexpected. And, um...um..."

Yeah...he had no idea how to react.

Lior shrugged. "This is how I expected you to react pretty much. Everyone reacts so much better to Aven when he does this kind of shit. What's so different about me? Is it because I'm older? Or becaus I'm an Overloridian?"

He rolled over on his tummy and kicked his legs up. "It's alright though. I wont com onto you again."

"It's prob'ly because Aven doesn't like people I think," Rowan replied, feeling bad for reacting so poorly. It wasn't like Lior had tried to rape him or anything. "He's got no feeling behind his attractions, from what I've seen.

"But I'm sorry I freaked out. You shouldn't like me anyway. There are so many better clio out there..."

Like Lesley, he thought with a scowl.

Lior shrugged again. He remembered one time seeing his brother emotionally involved wth someone, not just physically. That was Lucas. The good-for-him kid.

He listened carefully. He frowned. "Don't say that abut yourself," he shook his head. Then he laughed. "I don't like it. If I get closer to you and promise not to touch you or EXPLOIT you in any way, is that okay?"

"I guess it's fine," Rowan agreed, trying not to sound as reluctant as he felt. He felt bad. He wondered why Lior put such an emphasis on EXPLOIT, which meant to use selfishly. "But really. I don't get at all what anyone likes about me. I don't like me."

And thus he scooted over and crossed his legs at the knee in the air. He looked over at him. He was still laying down by the way. "Maybe its the air of mystery about you."

He grinned. "Well, shit, that's my reason."

"I have an air of mystery about me?" Rowan asked, confused. He didn't feel particularly mysterious. He certainly didn't try to be. Maybe he could be kind of secretive and closed off (unless he was with Alecis, in which case he couldn't seem to keep his deepest, darkest secrets to himself) but he never knew he was "mysterious."

Lior nodded, subtly, his eyes wide, mouth closed.

T-though its probly thuh facttha yer always drunk, Li. Myrrh laughed at his clio gently, and in a completely non-critical fashion.

He laughed in response, aloud, rather than keep it inside his head with Myrrh. Then he looked back at Rowan. "Myrrh thinks I think you're mysterious because I'm always drunk so I can't get my head around anything."

Lior burst out laughing. "But...I betcha I could...find a...MILLION...other clio who..." Deep breath..."Think the same...way...I do!"
