CHOCO, CHOCOLATE CHEESE [Roburt, Rene]

IT WAS A NICE DAY OUT.

And nice days could always be spent at Annerb Island, right? Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, brown cows...all that jazz. But yeah, Lumi was there for one reason or another, blissfully unaware of what this particular trip to Annerb had in store.

She walked down a dirt road, seemingly lost in thought, with a peaceful expression on her face.

Roburt had come to the farm today because his brother had told him that there were amazing super Amelian cows who didn't mind the cold. Roburt didn't really believe him, so he wanted to see them for himself.

He had been a little jumpy lately, a lot less then he had been when he first found out about Quinn, but still. He still thought Lumi was crazy for loving a killer but what could he do?

Thinking of Lumi made him think about what she told him at the carnival. Poor thing, why was life so cruel?

Looking ahead he noticed a familar looking clio walking his way.

"Well speak of the devil," he said, stopping to watch Lumi for a second. "Hey Lumi!"

Rene was off in a field wandering about minding his crazy business. He was behind a large hill so he wasn't able to see the trail, but the sound of a familar name called caught his interest. Calmly, he climbed up the hill.

Lumi blinked, her thoughts shattered, and looked up at the sound of her name. "Oh...hi, Roburt," she muttered, not meeting his eyes. After telling him an extremely personal secret, she now felt kind of awkward talking to him.

A chilly wind blew through and a cloud made its way in front of the sun, casting a shadow onto them.

Lumi shuddered at the sudden cold. "Er, how are you?"

"I'm, I'm good," Roburt breathed. "How about you?"

He thought it was cold too and zipped up his hoody.

Rene finally reached the top of the hill. The other side wasn't as steep as the side he just climbed. He was able to see his dear sister, and a friend of hers standing with her.

It was a man. That made Rene a little...angry. The only man who was allowed near Lumi was him and Quinn. He walked down the hill, and jumped over the fence. He took control of the other mans body.

"Hello Lumi," he growled. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, I've been..." Lumi trailed off as her eyes slowly traveled to the hill. Her breath got caught in her throat and she almost choked on the air. Rene was here.

She couldn't move. She realized that he wasn't even controlling her; she was frozen out of fear.

"Hello Lumi. Who's your friend?"

Oh no. He looked angry. There was no way Roburt could handle Rene. This was even worse than her being alone with him. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt too.

Roburt looked over to where Lumi was looking, saw a man, and then that famalir feeling of being controlled took over him. This man was Ughdarras, and just as strong as Quinn is.

He looked angry, and he seemed to know Lumi. Who was he? Jealous ex? A creeper? What?! Either way, Roburt had a feeling that he was going to get hurt today.

Rene made the other man drop to his knees.

"Huh?! Little sister?! Who is he?!" Rene asked again. "You better not be stepping out of me and Quinn now!"

Lumi watched Rene control Roburt in horror. "Stop it, don't hurt him!" she yelled, obviously frightened. "He hasn't done anything! Leave him alone!" She found the strength to move and jumped in front of Roburt, putting herself right in front of Rene. God, she was so scared, but she couldn't let him hurt someone else.

Roburt was forced to drop to his knees. It hurt and he cringed. The man called Lumi his little sister, then said something about Lumi stepping out on him?

Who is this freak?!

"Get out of the way Lumi or I'll be forced to hurt my little neice or nephew," Rene growled at her.

He never would have hurt the unborn baby, but Lumi didn't know that.

From behind Lumi Roburt stood up, grabbed her, and pushed her to a fence.

"Let's see, what is there that I can tie you up with?" he asked himself.

He looked off into the grassy fields, "Ah."

He held out his hand, and killing a patch of grass, he sucked out all of it's water. The water then wrapped itself around Lumi's wrists and part of the fence and it turned to ice.

"Perfect," he said smugly. "Now, come here."

Roburt came to Rene all stiff like and weird, "What is your name?"

Lumi struggled against the icy bonds. "Erg...No, let him go!" Lumi yelled fearfully. Roburt was going to be hurt, or worse. "Please Rene! Don't hurt him!" She struggled even harder.

Roburt wanted to cry, but he was too proud to, even though he was in danger.

Rene wrote:"What is your name?"

Firmly but shakily Roburt replied, "My name is Roburt."

Rene ignored his sisters plea's, and only kept his eye's on Roburt.

"It's nice to meet you Roburt. My name is Rene," he told him in a creepily calm voice. "Lumi you see is my sister, and since you seem to be so close to her, I'm afraid you'll need punishment."

He pulled his hand back slowly, made a fist, and punched Roburt in the stomach. The poor dear, still being controlled, couldn't even buckle over in pain.

"NO!"

Lumi watched the scene in horror and helplessness. There had to be something she could do, anything. The fence she was bound to was made of wood, so she couldn't control it, but...there had to be nails holding the fence together...

She concentrated and the nails detached themselves from the fence, causing it to collapse. The ice broke in the process.

She ran forward and grabbed Rene's arm as he reached back for another punch. "I said, STOP!!!"

Roburt saw stars when Rene's fist met his gut. He wanted to fall over and hug himself, but he couldn't. The pain felt much worse. Rene was going to do it again but Lumi tried to stop him.

"Stay out of this Lumi!" Rene roared at her. He let Roburt free but grabbed his neck and squeezed. He held out his hand and took control of Lumi.

"Now Lumi," he said. "I really don't think you want me to kill this man. But if you don't stay away, he will die. Would you like that? Knowing that poor little Roburt died because you're so selfish?"

He squeezed Roburts neck harder, all you could hear were his choking and gasping noises.

Lumi met Rene's gaze. She knew he would do it, he would kill Roburt without hesitation. But even if she did back off, he would probably just end up killing him anyways, albeit more slowly.

"J-just let him go, please!" she pleaded. She didn't know what she would do if Roburt died because of her. "I-I'll do anything! Just don't kill him, I'm begging you!"

Roburt was starting to lose consciousness he clawed at Rene's arm as best as he could but it wasn't doing much.

"Lumi!" he gasped in a disgusting, terrifying, raspy voice. "Just...do...what...he....says...."

Roburts eyes started to roll in the back of his head.

"You better listen to your friend little sister," Rene said in a creepy voice. "If you don't want him to die, stay out of this and let him get his punishment!"

"He doesn't deserve to be punished!" Lumi exclaimed, though she did back away obediently. She lowered her head, but raised her gaze. "Please...punish me instead...just don't hurt him anymore...!"

She held her hands out palm-up in a sort of surrendering gesture.

After Lumi backed away Rene seemed to be satisfied and let Roburt go. He fell to his knees and coughed and sputtered. He lay on the dirt road for a few blissful moments.

Rene grinned, "Good girl."

He let Roburt go and watched him cough and lay on the road. He looked back up at Lumi, "This isn't just his punishment my Lovely Lumi, this is also yours."

He looked back down at Roburt and stepped on his face, rubbing his foot on his cheek. Then facing the front of him, he kicked Roburt again and again in the gut and ribs.

Lumi dropped to her knees. "No, please, he didn't do anything!" she cried out in horror. "It's all my fault, I swear!" She didn't even know what she was beseeching to Rene for. She didn't understand what he was angry about, just that he was, and he was taking it out on Roburt. "Please, anything but this!"
