confusing passion for the love he never gave. [Aven.]

Cray leaned on a fence and watched the cows graze lazily in the dark. It was cold and she could see her breath. She laughed a little. She didn't really remember how she got onto Annerb Island, but she was glad she came. She liked cows.

She reached out her hand as far as she could get it, and tried reaching for a cow. "Come 'ere cooooooooooooow!" she called.

Aven sat on his rear on Annerb Island. This was crazyweird! How in the world did he get there? Oh well. He made woosh noises with his mouth and flew his hand around his head like an air plane. Which he knew about, because he'd seen one before.

Suddenly, he heard someone calling for a cow. There were cows there? Holy mother of Eskimos! He got up and followed the voice and found Cray.

"Ohmigod!" He yelped, waving. "Hi, Cray!"

Cray jumped a mile when she heard her name. She looked at the source of her name and squeeled, "OHMYGAWD AVEN! I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU LAST!"

She ran over to Aven and hugged him tightly. "WHAT'RE YEW DOING HERE?!"

Aven pretended like what she just yelled made sense. But it didn't matter as he hugged her back, laughing his head off.

WHAT'RE YEW DOING HERE?!

"I don't know!"

Cray giggled, then burped. Covered her mouth, giggled again and said, "Scuse me!" Cray pointed a thumb back at the cows and said, "I was trying to pet the cows!"

Aven laughed. "You're cute."

He looked where she was pointing. "I didn't even know there were cows anywhere in Amelia. That's amazing!"

He darted past her to look out into the pasture. Climbing up onto the fence he stared out at them. Aven reached his arm out at them, the closest one being about a hundred feet away. "I can't reach!" He pouted.

Cray followed Aven and stood next to him. "I know! Why wont they get closer?!" she whined, while reaching out to the cows with him. She started to lean a little, until she leaned too far forward and fell into the fence area. "Ow! Aven I fell!" she whimpered.

Aven laughed. "I don't know!" He grinned, straddling the fence.

Then he watched her lean forward. His senses came to him, "Craywatchout!" He yelled. Too late.

Aven saw her in the pasture. He laughed loudly. "Aw, Craycray!" He jumped in to help her up. "You're silly girl."

Cray looked up at Aven pointed at him and said, "Now you're in the pasture!" After that, she started laughing, really hard. She stood back up and said, "Well now that we're in here, we can pet the cows!"

Aven looked at her like she had just said the profoundest thng he'd ever heard.

"Oh, my god. You're right!" He pulled her up. And took off running, leaping over the cows' left-behinds. "Come on, Craycray!" He yelled over his shouler.

Cray stumble-ran after Aven. Even though she was drunk she was still able to avoid the poopies, although she had trouble. When they both reached the closest cow, Cray turned to Aven and said, "Cows poop a lot."

"Ohmigodiknowrite?" He looked at her, eyes wide.

Then he turned to the cow, clutching Cray's hand. He gaped at it. "You touch it first, Craycray."

Cray stared at the cow, too afraid to touch it. She held out her hand, hesitated, then patted the cows back. "Oh my gosh! Touch it Aven!" she squeaked.

Aven watched her. When she hesitated, he gasped lightly, clutching closer to her, in relative fear.

Meanwhile, the cow was just a'chillin'.


Then he watched her pet it. He was holding his breath....SHE WAS ALIVE!

Excitedly, he patted the cow's back as well. "Ohmigod. It's so softttt!"

"I know!" Cray said, agreeing with Aven. "I want a pet cow!" she said randomly. With that, she leaned forward and kissed the cow.

Aven laughed and stumbled a little. "Me too!"

He leaned on it gently, his balance going topsy turvy. "I want a pet you." He grinned, kissing her.

Cray kissed Aven back. It felt great kissing somebody. She had forgotten what it felt like. "Well you can pet me, it wont do me no harm," she said shyly, even though she totally wasn't shy at this point.

Aven grinned after she leaned away. "Okay..." He looked behind him. "Let's go over there, there's a barn. I bet there's hay and stuff."

He led her that way. Aven opened the barn door, with relative difficulty. It was heavy. He looked around inside. Clear.

Sure enough, in the barn, a large pile of hay occupied the corner. "Lookie there!"

Cray followed Aven all the way to the barn, and grew so excited to see the hay, that she jumped up and down with glee. "The hay will be so warm!" she cheered, then hopped into the nearest pile.

Aven jumped in after her. "It is warm!" He laughed, making a snow hay angel on the barn floor.

He leaned up and picked a piece of hay out of Cray's hair. "Craycray, you try!"

"Okay!" Cray replied cheerfully. She threw herself backwards, and made her own little hay angel. She sat back up and looked behind herself, "Lookit!" she said with a ^_^ face.

Aven looked. "It's beautiful!" He pulled more hay out of her hair. "Just like you!"

"Awww, you're such a sweetheart!" Cray gushed. She leaned forward and nuzzled his neck.

Aven laughed and leaned away, letting his back hit the hay. "You're welcome," he said, looking up at her. "The hay is so itchy." Aven gave her a =D face.

He gave her the c'mere finger, grinning.

Cray obeyed the finger. She crawled over to Aven, until she was inbetween his legs and their faces where about a foot apart. She tilted her head to the side cutely and asked, "What?" ^_^
