Saige entered Casa Nova's excitedly. She was finally getting a job! No more mooching off of the rents! She got a little nervous though. She'd have to work help strangers. But she could get over that. She'd have Akil helping anyway.

She wasn't entirely sure who to speak to, so she aproached the counter, where a cute boy about her age was working.

"Excuse me," she said shyly.

Lucas looked up from the counter, where his eyes had rested. He'd zoned out. He blinked a few times before he said hello.

"Hello," he said, "what can I get for you?" His finger poised to enter her order. "May I suggest a mocha? I'm excellent at those.

Aven hadn't seen his Lucas in so long, he was afraid he wouldn't recgonize his ex anymore. He made his way into Casa Nova's, where his former beloved was there, talking to a pretty girl with a lot of eye makeup. Aven smiled. Lucas would forever be the charmer.

He took a seat over by the window. He had no money. Maybe Lucas would treat him?

He watched him adorably converse with that girl. For a moment, he wondered absently if Lucas was seeing anyone. Because if he wasn't, Aven really wouldn't mind kissing that kid again. XD Avennnn.

"I'm actually not here to order anything," Saige told him, "I'm here for the job? I'm Saige!"

She smiled at the boy, wanting to make a good first impression.

Lucas' eyes flashed with recogition. "Oh! Oh, hey!" He grinned at her sticking his hand out. "I'm Lucas, good to meet you! You're the reason I'm actually here today. Boss told me to meet our new employee today. He didn't say you'd be so cute!" Lucas gave her a ^^ face.

Aven couldn't remember a time when Lucas didn't look adorable. The way he greeted the girl with such a big smile! So cute! He found himself smiling too, besides himself.

Obviously, he couldn't be bothered by his creeper ness. He just continued to watch. Lucas would be on break soon, if he was still on the same schedule he was when Aven was with him.

Saige blushed and took his hand, "It's nice to meet you, Lucas!"

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous. Do you ever have mean costomers?" she asked.

Lucas nodded, "Don't be. I guess we do have a few, but most clio who come around here are the arty hipsters. They're usually pretty mellow.Besides that one." He peeped around her shoulder. "That's Aven, my ex-boyfriend. He's not mean, but he isn't mellow either. He's spazzy." Lucas grinned. "This is one of the first time I've seen him around these parts."

Aven saw Lucas peer around the girl's shoulder. He waved brightly upon being aknowledged.

"Hi!"

Saige nodded, then turned around the face the boy Lucas was talking about. Another cute one! She smiled warmly at him, and waved.

Lucas grabbed her shoulder and turned her back around. "Don't wave at him, he's crazy! Now you've done it." The smile on his face was evidence he was only half teasing. "Now he knows you know he's there."

But of course Lucas knew it was his fault. "Aven, what are you doing here? I'm not single anymore, you know!"

Aven waved at the pretty girl. Her face was even more pretty than the back of her head. He grinned. "Hello!"

He crossed his leg over the other, "I came to say hello! You're looking awful cute today, Lucas. Who's the lucky girl?"

Saige was surprised when Lucas pulled her back. She made a Mr. Scorepa "oops" face and hung her head sheepishly.

"Sorry," she whispered to Lucas, "I didn't know..."

Saige was a little embarrassed. Even though she shouldn't be.

Lucas laughed, "It's alright, I was just teasing you." He said grinning and tilting her chin up. "No worries, he's a nice guy. Just a liiiiittle crazy."

Then he shouted back to Aven: "Real sweet guy. You should know I don't date girls. Only exception was you, sweetheart."

Aven laughed in the "should have known way." You know, "neh heh heh...oh you..."

"Funny," he grinned flirtily, "I was about to say the same about you."

Saige felt much better, "Oh, okay."

She was grinning again. So these two must have dated. Haha, what an amazingly attractive couple they must have made. She turned back around to face Aven. Both these boys had perfect hair! Saige was jealous.

"Yep, you're good." He watched her turn around. "I go on break now, you want to go over and talk with him?"

"Haha, Aven, you're so funny." Lucas stuck his tongue out at him. Then he started walking over to him, giving him what he wanted.

"I know!" Aven chirpped. Then he saw them coming over to him. OMG this was exactly what he wanted!!

Saige nodded.

This'll be an interesting day, she thought.

Akil agreed.

Saige followed Lucas over to the cute clio named Aven.

Lucas swung a chair around to the table and offered it to Saige. "Aven, Saige. Saige...Aven! My ex. Obviously we're on friendly terms." Lucas shoved Aven's shoulder.

"He's a nice guy." Lucas tugged on his hair. "I mean girl."

"Always a joker." Aven grinned, shoving Lucas back in the chest. He offered Saige his hand, "Good to meet you. I say you're a prettier girl than I am."

Saige smiled at Lucas and took a seat.

Giggling at Aven's comment, Saige took his hand and shook, "It's nice to meet you!"

Saige made a ^_^ face.

Lucas shoved Aven, grinning. "Back off, horndog, I found her first."

He looked over at Saige. "It's not as good as it seems." Luas glanced at Aven out of the corner of his eye to see Aven's reaction.

"Yeah, well," Aven pulled Saige closer to him, cuddling her a little, gently, "finders keepers, losers weepers." Coy grin.

He listened to Lucas dismiss Saige's politeness. "That's what SHE SAID."

Saige giggled. These two were so silly! She leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table, and watched them both.

"So is this what I get to do at Casa Nova's? Chat with cute boys?" she teased.
