I HATE OPENING POSTS [Quinn]

[Okay, okay, we all know how boring and hard to write opening posts are. SO this one's gonna be shit because I don't feel like trying right now. xD]

Rowan was in the Ruins for no particular reason, just sitting there staring blankly out into space, lost in thought.

Quinn decided to visit the ruins today. Hands in his pockets, he walked along the acient stones, hands in his pockets, he looked up and noticed Rowan the Overloridian of Dian sitting by himself with his daemon, staring into space. Quinn shrugged and decided to join him, "How's it going?" he asked, once he aproached him.

Startled, Rowan came back to Amelia at the sound of another clio's voice. He looked up to see Quinn the Overloridian of Ughdarras and his daemon. "Oh--Fine," he said after collecting his thoughts. He knew from Lumi that she and Quinn were in a relationship now and considered asking how that was going, but decided to wait and see if it came up in conversation. "How's it going with you?"

"How's it going with you?"

"Quite well actually," Quinn told him, "Life has been brilliant."

He said his last sentence dreamily, and his eyes sparkled a little. Ever since Lumi and him were together, he had forgotten about all the bad things. Well, not exaclty forget, just stored away for later use.

Rowan smiled to himself. "I know exactly what you mean," he said with contentment. For the first time in a while, life was good.

Quinn stood still for a moment, then a thought crossed his mind, "Isn't Lumi one of your advisers?"

Rowan looked at him. "Yes, she is," he replied indifferently. "She told me that you two are kind of together now."

Actually Lumi hadn't been very clear on exactly their relationship; she had talked about Quinn as if they were a couple, but when Rowan asked if they were together she freaked out and exclaimed "I don't know!" and then went off on how she shouldn't feel this way and blah blah blah.

"Yeah," Quinn said dreamily, once more.

He looked at Rowan, "Does she talk about me at all?"

"Erm...kind of," Rowan said uncomfortably. To be honest, Lumi rarely said good things about Quinn. In fact she was pretty inconsistent when describing him. Sometimes he'd be "gorgeous, caring, charming" but more often than not he'd be "scary, murderous, don't know what I see in him". Rowan usually felt it best not to ask. "To be honest she seems kind of...confused when it comes to you."

Quinn smiled slightly at the thought of that, "I see."

Then he got a little depressed, Lumi wouldn't be so confused if he hadn't of done such a horrible thing. He sighed, "Do you ever wish that you could go back in time, and change things?"

"Frequently," Rowan replied knowingly, nodding Of course even if he could go back in time he wouldn't be able to change the one thing he regretted the most.

Quinn didn't know why, but he was glad Rowan knew how he felt, well in a different way anyways. Rowan didn't kill anybody. Quinn looked around, it was really pretty here. A good place for Rene to hide...Rene!

"Rowan," he said, "Have you had any lead as to the where abouts of Rene?"

"Rowan," he said, "Have you had any lead as to the where abouts of Rene?"

Rowan shook his head. "He was last spotted in the forest by you and Lumi," he replied. The truth was that they really didn't have any evidence to prove that Rene was the killer. All they had was his confession, and anyone who had ever met this guy would tell you how unreliable that was. "We're starting to think he didn't do it, anyways."

Rowan looked at Quinn. It was weird, but Lumi used to be convinced that Quinn was the culprit. But that was just crazy. Right?

Quinn growled in his head, Just because Rene didn't kill Triston, it doesn't mean he shouldn't be locked up. I know that man has killed before.

"Hmmm."

Quinn's stomach started to tighten, and his heart felt like it has been turned inside out. His only thought at that moment, was Lumi.

"I mean he's obviously dangerous, but there's no evidence against him in this particular crime," Rowan went on, watching Quinn's reaction. "Plus, according to some clio who were unfortunate enough to cross him yet fortunate enough to survive, leaving no marks on a body isn't his style; Triston was dead, but otherwise intact."

He sighed. This meant that there were at least TWO psychopaths on the loose. Then again, this was Amelia, so there were definitely more than two. But there were two that Rowan was responsible for.

Quinn nodded while he listened to Rowan. Once he was finished, Quinn nodded once more and said, "That is true, if you need any help at all, ever, I'm here to help. I can't help feeling responsible, whether Rene did it or not, I want to help."
