God, this feels so great! he screamed in his head.

He stood up, pulling Lumi with him, never moving his lips away from hers. He pushed back against the wall, but for a different reason than before. He kissed along her jaw line, and down her neck, and over her collar bone.

Lumi made little sounds that were sex-language for "keep going." While he was busy, she quickly made her hands useful by unbuttoning his shirt and trying to pull it off him, which was difficult because his hands were all over her.

Quinn calmed himself a little, just long enough for Lumi to get his shirt off, and acting fast, he pulled off Lumi's shirt up over her head. Quinn continued to kiss Lumi's chest, then went down through her bewbs, and all the way to her belly button. He slowly stood back up again, to kiss her, nibbling on her bottom lip.

"Quinn..!" Lumi breathed, and wasted no time going for his pants next. She didn't know what had come over her, but she liked it.

After their passionate love making affair, Quinn laid there, thinking.

We just had sex.

It was amazing though, and while it went on, he had forgotten about all the bad things he did. He forgot that he was a murderer. But that memory quickly popped back into his mind, and he had that feeling of nausea again.

Lumi watched Quinn's face closely. First he looked serene, but then his expression changed to what could be described as less than satisfied.

At first Lumi wondered if she had...you know, done bad, but then she realized that was ridiculous. She'd been amazing. So had he. So what...?

OH RIGHT. He was still a murderer. Suddenly Lumi wasn't feeling so great herself. She pulled herself from Quinn's arms, sat up and started to get redressed. "Maybe this was a mistake," she said solemnly.

Quinn sat up, and watched Lumi as she redressed herself.

"Maybe this was a mistake,"
She had said.

"I don't think it was..." he said quietly.

He stood up, and started to get dressed too.

Lumi closed her eyes in frustration and pain. "I don't know, Quinn," she moaned. "I really do love you. I want it to work. But...but..."

She didn't want to finish. She didn't need to.

"I understand," Quinn said sadly.

He finished getting dressed in silence, and went back to the whirlpool. He grabbed his scarf, wrapped it around his neck, and walked back to where Lumi was. He stood there awkwardly for a moment, then said, "I'll see you around."

With that, he walked back to the entrance of the cave.

Lumi watched him go. Everything seemed to slow down, he were leaving in slow motion. After an eternity he was finally gone.
