Interesting[Charlie-no other posters plz]

Charlie was really having a wonderful time. She was so glad that she had run away and met up with Rowan. She was glad that he knocked out the bodyguard and that they had gotten to talk. With that thought in mind, she heard Mae.

'Uhm, Charlie?' Mae said silently. 'This is really nice and all, but he's starting to look around again.' As Mae finished the sentence, Charlie heard the crackling of breaking sticks and broke the kiss, licking her lips and smiling, even if he couldn't see it. She looked where she thought his eyes were, but had to look away to see how far away the bodyguard was. He was still a safe distance back, but he was gaining ground fast.

"We need to move so he won't find us," Charlie whispered to Rowan, standing up slowly and pulling him close so they would blend in with the darkness of the tree. This was quite a rush, one that she wasn't used to, but one that she liked very much.

Rowan snapped back into reality as Charlie broke the kiss and he realized that the bodyguard was getting closer to them. He allowed Charlie to pull him up close to her more than willingly, and they stood still for a minute listening for any sign that the guard had heard them.

"I have an idea," Rowan whispered once his brain had started working again. "Move some ground way over there to distract him so that he goes deeper into the forest, then we can get back on Theodore Lane and get out of here." If it came to it, Rowan knew he could easily take out the bodyguard again, but that was worst-case scenario. If they could get out of here without having to fight then that's what they would do.

"Better hurry," Nym warned, able to hear that the guard was beginning to move in their direction.

Charlie nodded as he spoke and looked to see where the bodyguard was. He was getting closer, and she needed to make him go in a completely different direction, and deeper into the forest as Rowan had suggested.

'Smart guy,' Mae noted. 'I approve.'

Charlie smiled a bit at Mae's comment and turned her back to the bodyguard completely. She put her hands out in front of her, fists clenched and elbows bent, and rotated her fists in a half circle. She lifted her fists up slightly, and opened them. Far off in the distance and to the right a bit, some of the larger rocks in the soil, along with some soil itself, dropped to the ground, making it sound as if someone had tripped. The bodyguard's attention turned to the sound he heard, and the hyena raced ahead in that direction, the man following the daemon. She turned to Rowan and laughed softly, grabbing his hand before making a run for it when the bodyguard was far enough away that he wouldn't hear the well.

They broke through the thick forest back onto Theodore Lane. Rowan looked at Charlie and smiled. He couldn't remember the last time he'd felt like this. Usually he was always worried and depressed, but right now he was totally carefree. Very unusual. The adrenaline had kicked back in, but instead of feeling anxious he felt excited.

Then he thought, with a sinking feeling, they'd have to go their separate ways for the time being. It was completely dark now. If they stayed out any longer, then Charlie's bodyguard wouldn't be the only clio they'd have to worry about. Even Nym looked saddened at the prospect of leaving.

"We...we should probably get going," he said, even though it was the last thing he wanted to do. Now the adrenaline was wearing off and he was starting to think a little clearer. Was this all really such a good idea? "I'll...I hope I'll see you around."

The smile on Charlie's face seemed to be stuck, since she continued smiling even after Rowan said they should get going. She was just so happy that she'd done something fun and exciting, especially with such a cool guy. When it came to the fact that they were of different Eilemaiden, it probably wasn't the best idea, but that was it exactly. She didn't think about it at all when she was around him. So the smile stayed because she knew they'd see each other soon, as he said he wanted to. She nodded, holding both of his hands and looking up into his eyes. They could see each other now, which made it even more wonderful.

"You will," she said quietly before quickly kissing his cheek and letting go of his hands. She slipped her hands behind her back and walked off, Mae saying her goodbyes to Nym and flying over before landing softly on her shoulder.
