Where are the cows, Steve? [Harmond.]

Today, Quinn was going to talk to the very same person who made Rene the man he is now. He took a seat at a table, farthest away from people, they didn't need to know his business. Harmond, the man who had tortured Rene when he was young, was the man Quinn was meeting with today. He figured since Harmond had so much control over Rene so long ago, he could still control him now. Maybe Harmond could keep Rene away from Lumi.

Harmond entered the Tavern right on time to meet the Overloridian of Ughdarras, who had requested a meeting with him today. He had a pretty good idea of what--or who--this was all about.

He walked over all nonchalantly as if he wasn't a terrible, terrible man and sat down across from Quinn. "You wanted to see me?" he asked smoothly.

Harmond wrote:"You wanted to see me?"

"Yes," Quinn said sternly. "I did."

He studied the man sitting across from him. He looked like a total normal older man. If you didn't know about the things he did, you would have never guessed that he was a psycho. "I need to talk to you about, Rene."

"I gathered as much," Harmond replied calmly. Of course the little brat would be causing problems for his Overloridian. It was in his nature. "He's always had issues. How has he been troubling you?"

"How has he been troubling you?"

"Well, it's not so much me, it's more like my fiancee," Quinn told him.

Harmond considered the appropriate reaction, and then frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that," he lied. "If you like I'll see what I can do...Do you mind if I ask who your fiancee is?" If it was who he thought it was, then this was going to get interesting.

"I would love for you to do something, anything really," Quinn said with a nod. His expression still stern.

"Do you mind if I ask who your fiancee is?"

Quinn blinked slightly, a little surprised. What did Harmond care about who Lumi was? He answered anyway, "Her name is Lumi, Lumi Lavanya, why do you ask?"

"Hm. Fate has a twisted sense of humor, it seems," Harmond said gravely. Almost as twisted a sense of humor has he did. He looked Quinn in the eye, wanting to mess with him a little bit instead of telling him the truth outright. "Try picturing your fiancee and Rene in your head. Do they look alike to you?"

That was also a strange question, but Quinn did it anyway. Pointed nose, blue eyes, brown hair, they did look alike. "Are you trying to tell me," Quinn started. "That Lumi and Rene are related?"

Well, this Overloridian wasn't as dumb as he looked. "That's exactly what I'm saying," he replied, secretly enjoying this immensely. "Although I'm sure they have no idea, as you didn't, but they're brother and sister."

Oh dear.

"I-I see," Quinn said quielty. He stood up, "I need to go, thank you for your time."

And with that, he left.

Harmond chuckled to himself a little and ordered a drink. These kids were just too much fun. He couldn't wait to crush them, just like he'd crushed the Overloridian of Cuir.
