my woman is angry with me. [Penny Lope.]

Quinn was at the tavern today, for no real reason. Okay, well maybe there was a reason. He had come there to complain about how Lumi had left him. How didn't understand women. How he missed her so much.

He took a seat at the bar, and ordered some water. The bartender gave him a glass of water and he absentmindedly started to play with it.

Penny watched the young bland man come into the Tavern looking upset and pissed off about something that was none of her business. But whether or not someone's problems were her business had never once before stopped her from finding out about them.

"Here," she said, handing him a glass of water. "You look kinda down. If you don't mind me asking, is there something bothering you?"

Penelope wrote:"Is there something bothering you?"

Quinn looked up at the bartender. This is just what he needed, plus, she was a woman. She could explain to Quinn what the hell they want. "Actually, yes, there is something bothering me." Quinn sighed heavily. "I don't understand woman."

"Relationship problems, huh?" Penny asked in a knowing voice. She got this complaint so often. She walked around the bar, grabbed a stool, brought it back behind the bar with her and sat down on it. She rested her elbows on the table across from the man. "You'd better start by telling me what you did."

So Quinn did just that. He told her about how Lumi was being stalked by a crazy clio. How he was worried and wanted to stay with her forever. How he got her a body guard, and all the other important details about what happened in the past few days. "And that's what's up..." he finally finished. He had no idea why he told a woman who he just met his whole life story, but something about her made him feel, comfortable.

"And...you don't see what the problem is with hiring someone to stalk your girlfriend?" Penny asked with a raised eyebrow. This guy was the typical well-meaning idiot. Maybe she'd be able to help him.

"He wasn't stalking her," Quinn said, with the slightest annoyence. "He was guarding her!"

"Following her wherever she goes against her consent?" Penny defined. "That's stalking, no matter what your intentions were. Instead of her safety being your top priority, don't you think her happiness should be?"

Quinn was about to come up with something to say back, but then he realized that she was right. Whether he knew Lumi was safe or not, it killed him to see her unhappy, almost more then it did to see her in danger. Edwurd even said something like this, now that Quinn thought about it. But Quinn was so angry to see Edwurd come back when he had thrown him out in the first place, he only listened to what Lumi had to say. Quinn didn't want to admit it but, "You're right..."

"Yeah, I usually am," Penny replied honestly. Maybe this guy wasn't totally clueless. She hoped he did get back together with his girlfriend. "So do you know what you're gonna say to her?"

Quinn nodded and said, "The same thing I just said to you, 'you're right' and I'll add a little something that's sort of like, an apology." Quinn grinned, he couldn't wait to see Lumi again he missed her so fucking much!

"Good boy," Penny said approvingly. "Now if you're not gonna order anything that costs money I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Good luck with your girlfriend!"
