"It's so pretty," Charlie breathed. She walked along the beach, Mae soaring above her. Charlie's eyes were closed, but she was seeing the moon reflect beautifully against the water from a literal "birds-eye view." Her toes squished into the sand, her feet leaving footprints that the waves played with. Her legs were bare, as were her arms, since only short shorts and a tank top covered her. Her hair was down and a bit wavy, falling in front of her face in locks.

This girl had changed, that was for sure. For the better or for the worse, she wasn't sure, but since she had stopped liking Rowan so much, she felt more...free and open. Not that she didn't love taking strolls along the beach at night and watch the moon before Rowan. She just had a different feel to her now. A little less reserved, a little more...wild. Maybe she was growing up.

Or something.

Her fingers drew intricate patters in the air, sand reaching up to follow them. The sand danced around as she did, the stroll not much of a stroll but an adventure of the body and soul and moon and movement. :] She wasn't high or anything, I swear.

Arden sat quietly, Sol resting in his hair. He watched the waves come in inches away from his toes.

He breathed out, very relaxed. He wore red shorts and a white (wife-beater esque) tank.

"Sol?" He looked up at his daemon.
"Yes?" The little white mouse answered aloud?
"Do you think there's anyone out there like us?"
Sol laughed. "Probably not, Arden. Everyones' different."
Arden grinned.

Suddenly, a girl danced into his view. He looked up, surprised. He stayed quiet, watching her beauty reflected by the moonlight. Who was she?

Suddenly the view of the moonlight changed to the beach, and then to a blur. A clio?

Charlie opened her eyes, looking to the blur. It had to be a clio. Right? Well, she'd definitely have to find out. She continued dancing until she was a bit closer, then stopped dancing and just started to walk in a fluent way, sort of like the waves. But she wasn't Ughdarras. She just connected with nature easily.

Sand rose a few inches into the air with each step she took, making a sort of walkway for her and staying in place even as she passed. Each individual piece seemed to move in a different way, reflecting the light of the moon. She stopped when she was a few feet away from the guy, but the sand continued to rise in front of her until it reached him, connecting their paths.

She cocked her head to the side as she looked at the clio. "Aven?" she asked.

He watched her dance closer. It was so beutiful.

Arden squinted, when she spoke, "No? No, I'm sorry." He winked at her. "You're really close though." Arden smiled. "I'm Arden."

He shook his hair out of his eyes, "And what might I have the pleasure of calling you by?"

...Arden? No way. He looked just like Aven. He sounded just like Aven...but he didn't know Charlie? Hm. He seemed a little shorter. Uh...this was confusing. So for now, she'd just play along.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Hi Arden," she said, holding her hand out for him to shake. "I'm Charlie, it's nice running into you." Mae flew down to Charlie, landing nicely on her shoulder. Ah! That would be the trick. "This is Mae, my other half." Now it was time to see "Arden's" daemon. >:]

Arden smiled back. "Hi!"

He listened to her talk. It was like music. "It was lovely to be ran into by you." He resisted kissing her hand. =D

Arden rubbed his hand in his hair and pulled Sol out. "This is Sol. My other...one-sixteenth."

Sol bit Arden's finger gently. Hey...

Charlie's eyes widened. That was not Ra! That was a mouse, not a squirrel! This really wasn't Aven! Huh. Guess she was dropping the act. This was the real deal.

She noticed that she looked really surprised to see a mouse, and she felt a little bad about it, so she tried to make it seem like she wasn't surprised or freaked or anything. Because in all honesty, it wasn't the mouse. It was the fact that the mouse wasn't a squirrel. Hm.

"She's cute," Charlie said, just kind of assuming that his daemon was a girl, since most clio she knew had a daemon of the opposite gender.

"He," Arden grinned. "Sol is a he."

He tried his hardest to ignore her look of surprise. Was she upset by his small daemon? Arden didn't say anything, but he gritted his teeth. He was a MAN. He apologized mentally to Sol. No small daemon changed his manliness.

"Oh, sorry!" Charlie said. Oops. "I just kind of assume that clio have daemons of the opposite gender. I don't of course, though, Mae's a girl, just like me. But anyways, I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. He's real cute." She smiled apologetically, mouthing 'sorry' one last time.

Arden nodded. "S'alright. You didn't know." He smiled. "You want to sit down?"

He patted the sand next to him. "Who did you think I was?"

Charlie smiled and nodded. "I'd love to sit down. Thanks." She sat down next o him, her legs bending, knees up by her face and arms wrapping around them, holding them tightly against her chest. She rested her chin on her knees, Mae jumping off of her shoulder and onto the sand to burrow around for a little while. Maybe her and Sol could play?

Charlie looked to Arden. "Well, I thought you were this guy that I know. His name is Aven, and the two of you look remarkably alike. It's actually a little creepy. You sound alike, too."

Arden shook his head. "I'm sorry, I don't know who that is. I apologize for it creeping you out." He tilted his head, smiling pleasantly.

Sol climbed down Arden's arm, glancing back at his clio before prancing over to Mae. "Hey!" (Sol is so friendly.)

"Is he Solas?"
