“What does Charlie think of all this?” Alecis asked him, wondering how she could be okay with it all. It was killing Alecis, and she wasn’t even with Rowan. “Lumi told me you two were back together, how could you do this to her?”

Rowan looked away. “I…I don’t know,” he said honestly. He really didn’t feel guilty at all for ‘doing this to Charlie.’ Deep, deep down, he was still bitter towards her for cheating on him with Lesley. He knew it was wrong, but it made him feel, well, justified. “I guess I can do it to her because of what she did to me.”

Ugh, he sounded terrible. He was being terrible. He should be disgusted with himself, but he wasn’t. And it was refreshing to not hate himself for once. Maybe Ria was being a bad influence to him.

Immediately Alecis felt sympathetic. She knew all to well what Charlie’s cheating had done to Rowan. But still! “Rowan, I know that was hard on you, but if you’re in a relationship, you should be faithful to them. You’re dropping down to her level…” It was hard to watch Rowan go through all these changes, but it wasn’t really his fault… At least Alecis didn’t want to believe it was.

“Well why shouldn’t I drop down to her level?” Rowan asked defensively. If Charlie had the right to go off and date someone else, then he should have the right to have sex of dubious consent with Ria.

He let out a frustrated sigh. “Alecis, I’m…not happy with her anymore,” he admitted finally. Go figure that he got over her right after they got back together. (Like JD and Elliot! =D)

“Oh, OH… I mean, uh, oh.” How could Rowan not love Charlie? After the initial shock of his words, a little bit of anger hit. “You Almost Killed Yourself Over Her…. AND NOW YOU’R OVER HER?”

"I didn't almost kill myself," Rowan replied, as if everything that had happened was NO BIG DEAL. "And that wasn't just because of Charlie, it was a million other things too.

"But...yeah, I guess I am over her," he added, slightly guiltily. "I, uh, haven't exactly told her yet." Nor did he plan to anytime soon. That he would feel guilty about. Especially after she broke up with her perfect boyfriend for him. (Still like JD and Elliot! =D)

Alecis glared at him angrily. She loved him, sure, but this guy was basically trying to break her apart into tiny pieces.

But Rheis interviened before she screamed at Rowan again, Listen, what is he gonna do? If he doesn't love her, why should he stay with her?

Alecis blinked, not able to come up with a response to her fox-conscious. He was right, obviously, but still... "And is she coming to this party? Planning to have a good night with you, dancing? She loves you Rowan! I get that she made a mistake, a pretty big one, but you shouldn't leave her hanging--you need to tell her."

Easier said than done. "How can I tell her?" he asked, actually wanting an answer. "I don't want to hurt her." What a lousy situation this was.

"You don't think it'll hurt her more this way? Pretending to care when you don't? She'll be humiliated and hurt when you tell her, and she doesn't deserve that, Rowan. You know she doesn't." Alecis was disapointed in Rowan, trying to take the easy way out of something.

"...I honestly don't think the party is the best place to tell her though, you'll ruin her whole night. But afterwards, I definetly think you should."

Ria stood waiting for the two to return for a good five minutes before following after them. Why did she have to do everything herself?

"What are you guys doing over here," Ria snapped violently, "I've been waiting forever and me and the alien are parched! Do you want me parched Rowan?!"

"I honestly could care less," Rowan replied dryly, thrusting a cup of punch into Ria's hand. He was secretly grateful she had interrupted them, because the conversation between him an Alecis was getting more uncomfortable by the minute.

Enter: Social butterfly, late teens, crazy wicked sweet.

"HEY EVERYBODY, LOOK WHO MY DATE IS!!" Aven yelled out, clinging to his brother's arm, who, try as he might, could not get out of Aven's death grip.

Aven dragged Lior around by the arm, showing him off. "Lior, do you want to dance?" He asked, smiling pleasantly. "I am excellent at the rrrrrrrrrRUMBA!"
