Ahtnamas Taimmm.

On Earth we have things called Christmas, Chanukkah, and New Years. In Amelia they have something that wraps all of those holidays together. It is called Ahtnamas and it is named after the creator(they believe) of the Amelia. The Amelians celebrate it as a way to look at the wonder of life and new beginnings.

Ahtnamas is a holiday that lasts eight days.

[Day 1] December 25th is celebrated by giving gifts to those closest to you and usually having a big party.
[Day 2] December 26th is celebrated by going out with your special person or a close friend and eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner(all three) at a different place. Spend your day together, have a picnic, go to the tavern, cook your love a special meal at your house!
[Day 3] December 27th is celebrated by doing something crazy. Take your pick of the crazy things out there to do.
[Day 4] December 28th is celebrated by staying up all night to watch the sun rise.
[Day 5] December 29th is celebrated by carving your name somewhere in the Linius Forest. Look for your signatures from years past.
[Day 6] December 30th is celebrated by writing a letter to yourself that you will read a year later on the last day of Ahtnamas.
[Day 7] December 31st is celebrated by another party! Make a resolution to keep throughout the next year.
[Day 8] January 1st. Congratulations, you've made it to the new year. Read last years letter. Celebrate new life, a new chance to be who you want to be. Do something nice for someone!
