Awkwaaaaaaaaaaard [Rowan, Charliewhore, Lesleydouche]

There are a few things Rowan never did in a normal state of mind. One of them was to physically fight. It was something he was rather proud of, that no matter how provoked, he never raised a hand to someone, and had only ever fought in defense before.

Apparently Rowan was not in a normal state of mind, because midway through Lumi's rant he clenched his fist and punched Lesley in the nose as hard as he possibly could with a satisfying CRACK.

Lesley opened his mouth to interrupt Lumi, but she was interrupted by someone else, who happened to punch him right in the face.

He flew out of his chair, sliding on the floor and hitting a chair with someone in it. His nose started to bleed immediately, and he raised his hand to wipe some off.

"What the fuck, man?" Lesley said as Charlie rushed over to help him up. "You're fucking crazy!"

Charlie's jaw dropped when Rowan punched Lesley in the face. Sure, the guy totally deserved it, but she never thought that Rowan would do such a thing. She always thought he was better than that.

"Rowan!" She screamed, looking at him fiercly. "What is wrong with you?" She stood, rushing over to Lesley. She had grabbed a napkin and held it to his nose, helping him sit up. "You of all clio, Rowan? I never thought..." she shook her head, not even bothering to look at Rowan. She couldn't.

She could feel the gazes of the clio around them, surprised by the action taken by the man. "We're really sorry," Charlie said to the clio sitting at the table Lesley had slid into. "Come on," she muttered, helping Lesley stand.

Lumi's mouth was hanging open like a cash register. She had known Rowan for five years and never, not once, had he ever, ever gotten violent like that. He was a pacifist. And in the past, Lumi could never understand how Rowan could have never socked Alecis with all the shit she used to say to him. He was the last person she'd ever expect to do such a thing, especially after such little provocation.

But it was still pretty fucking awesome.

Lumi managed to tear her eyes away from the scene long enough to see the manager of Casa Nova's coming towards them looking pissed off beyond all reason.

"Maybe we should go..." she grabbed Rowan's arm and started to pull him towards the exit.

Rowan swore under his breath. That really hurt his hand. He'd never punched someone in the face before; he hadn't expected it to hurt.

As the adrenaline and anger faded away, the full realization of what he'd just done hit him. He had just punched Charlie's boyfriend in the face. In front of her. In front of a room full of people. He had never lost control like that before, never...

"What is wrong with you?"

He didn't know. "I'm s-" he started to say, but Lumi quickly started pulling him away. He looked over and saw the manager of Casa Nova's approaching. Uh oh.

They quickly got to the exit, but not quick enough to miss the manager yelling after them, "Don't you ever let me catch you two in this shop again!"

Outside, they started to walk home in silence. Lumi was in awe, looking at him with a mixture of shock and admiration. He didn't want her to look at him that way; he hadn't done anything to be proud of.

Why did he have to be so fucking stupid?
