we're playing little love games. [seven.]

It was Sunday. The sun had gone don. It was a warm evening for November. Lucas sat on the cool sand, his feet buried in it. He had started a fire, by himself, since his Eilemaiden couldn't help him any. It was burning on some logs next to him, keeping him warm as he sat silently, his head on his knees. He had a little cardigan pulled around him as he buried himself in thought.

He thought about everything that had happened to him. He and Aven had slept together. Twice. They broke up. He met Peyton, who had given him drugs. They had had...something of a night together afterwards. And then, Aven had strangely disappeared. Now, he had become good friends with London. And he got his best friend in a weird relationship with her and she had helped him into a weird relationship with Eli.

So much had happened. He sighed, leaning back to stare at the dark sky, sprinkled with silver stars. It was such a beautiful night out. Lucas wished someone was with him to share it.

Seven was pumped for the beach. He and the dæmon hadn't been there in quite some time so he was excited to show off his new pair of hawiian swim trunks. They were bright blue with white flowers and they made his eyes stand out like crazy. Perfect, besides his butt, those were his best features.

With a pail and a shovel(you can't go to the beach without sandcastle-making supplies!) he raced Aluer down the sandy beach, excited for what was to come.

Lucas heard the soft padding of another clio racing down the beach. He sat up, turned quickly to see the approaching possible ambush, and stared. It was warm but it wasn't warm enough for trunks.

He stared at him. He was attractive, but probably crazy. Lucas considered staying quiet. The last time he involved himself with a crazy clio, it hadn't ended too well, and then he disappeared.

But then he remembered his fire would make him stand out against the darkening sky. "Shit."

Imogenefluttered to his shoulder. "Didn't you just wish someone else was here?"

Lucas ignored her to stay quiet. Maybe it would look like he was asleep. Or dead.

"You can't ignore him, Lucas."

Lucas ignored her again. Imogene wouldn't have it.

Imogene opned her beak, "Hey! Hey you!"
"Shut up, Im!"
"This is my clio, Lucas! How are you?"

Seven was startled when he heard a voice speak to him. It wasn't usual for other clio to be out at the beach this time of the year.

"Well hello Lucas and gorgeous dæmon of said Lucas! What're you doing out here this fine night?" Seven asked as he walked over to the clio and dæmon pair. " I am, by the way, Seven," he added as he dropped into the sand next to them.(It was in Seven's nature to totally assume he was friends with everyone.)
