Lior laid in the grass. It was cool outside. Just cool enough to wear a sweatshirt, but not cool enough that your forehead didn't bead up with sweat, just under your hairline.

He frowned. It'd been days...weeks...a really, fucking long time since he'd talked to Alecis. They weren't dating...They weren't even in love. He didn't know what they were.

He rested his head on his hands, Myrrh was laying a little bit away from him in the grass.

It was cloudy outside, so everywhere was shady. He was comfortable. He wondered what he did wrong, what he did to make Alecis ignore him.

Lior sighed. Weird.

(Hey, at least you don't have weird sexual interests in old men like that Creeper Becky does... She likes old men. Like Barack Obama. And Hugh Laurie... And...Someone else...Who's also relatively...old.

Since the weather was getting a little more chilly, Candice came to the valley in hopes of nobody there. To her relief, she saw nobody, or so she thought. She didn't see her Overloridian, lying in the tall grass.

Candice continued her stroll in the grass, Atticus slithered beside her, when to her surprise, she trips, over a body!

Lior shot up in the grass, staring at the clio who had just tripped and fallen in his lap. He stared at her. "Excuse me," he said, a little irritated. "I'm here..."

Candice layed there for a second, face in the ground. Quickly, she crawled away and stood up, still not facing the clio she tripped over.

"Sorry!" she blurted out, then stood there, too embarassed to move.

Dammit, she thought, I can never be alone!

Lior calmed down, and looked at her again. His face softened. "I'm sorry. I was just thinking and you scared me. I'm sorry for getting so angry."

He patted the ground next to him. "I'm Lior. This is Myrrh."

Candice didn't want to talk, but she didn't want to be rude. Esther didn't teach Candice to be rude. She turned around and sat on the spot that Lior patted.

"My name is Candice and that," she said pointing to the komodo dragon, "Is Atticus."

"Well, it's lovely to meet you." He smiled. "I like your hair."

He grinned again. "You're in Solas, right?"

"I like your hair."

"Thank you," Candice replied.

"You're in Solas, right?"

Candice nodded at the question, and said, "Yup!"

"So you know who I am, then, right?" He grinned. "You're welcome. Do you know my brother, Aven?"

He flopped back in the grass, crossing his legs at the knee in the air, staring up at the gray sky. "It's beautiful out here."

"Well, I think...you're my Overloridian?" Candice hoped she got it right, "I don't think I've ever met your brother. I don't talk to people much."

That sounded...rude, she thought.

"Yep, you're right." Lior smiled, pleasantly.
God, Lior, you sounded like the hugest asshole there just now. Myrrh whispered. Lior knew he had, but he ignored it.

"And that's alright. I'm not too talkative myself. I mean, I am a little. Like right now, but I'm not all that outgoing." Lior rambled.
Lior, just...You're so weird.

"You'd like him, I think. He's interesting."

Candice shrugged, maybe she would like his brother, maybe she wouldn't, she had no clue.

Candice looked around at her surroundings, there were leaves turning colors everywhere, it was truly beautiful. The sun was setting slowly off in the west. It was getting a little bit nipply, but that was fine. Candice shivered, and hugged her knees.

Lior glanced over and watched her carefully for a few moments. He watched her hug her knees.

"Are you cold?" He slid off his coat, got on his knees and walked over to her on them, tossing it over her shoulders and then kneeling next to her. "I hope you don't think me too forward. "I'm just fine. I'm plenty warm. Besides, I have Myrrh. He will warm me up."

No I won't. Myrrh laughed.

"And you have Atticus. He's cold-blooded," Lior continued, "I'm sure he can't do too much good in the way of keeping you warm, when he needs to stay warm too."

Candice felt something warm and cozy hit her shoulders, she looked up and saw that Lior had lended her his jacket. She was actually quite shocked, nobody was ever this nice to her, except for Shelly, Atticus, and Esther. She smiled.

Atticus was cold though, Candice could tell, so she drug the huge lizard into a hug and held him, his scaly skin was cold agaisnt her skin.

"When it's winter," she said, "Me and Atticus probably wont be out much."

That was shame too, because when she was still unsettled, her and Atticus would play in the snow when he would be some type of warm blooded animal.

Lior nodded. "Me either. I more of an indoors sort of clio anyways," He smiled, rubbing her shoulders, quickly to warm her up.

He leaned away, back on his knees. "Myrrh would rather be outside. He doesn't like that I like to lay around a lot."

Candice flinched ever so slightly when Lior had touched her. She wasn't use to men touching her out of kindness. She hoped he didn't notice her flinch.

"Atticus loves to be outside in the summer, and I don't mind it." Candice said.
