"You gonna order anything?"
"No," Avery replied, not looking up. The bartender rolled his eyes and went back to cleaning a glass with a dirty rag. Not that Avery didn't want to order anything, but last he checked clio weren't to high on their customers not paying. He was really just here to escape the bad weather (it was a frikkin blizzard out there) since he had no where else to go.
Avery, isn't there anywhere else we can go? Vi asked dryly. I'm so sick of this place.
Sorry Vi, Dahlin's too far away, Avery replied. It sucks, but we're stuck.
Damn, Vi cursed.
Yeah, Avery agreed.

Re: Arfgar
London sighed as she opened the door to the tavern, where she was a frequent visitor. She held the door open for Laur, who trotted in, stopped after a few steps, and shook his fur violently to get all of the snow off.
'I hate it when you do that,' London said, closing the door behind her and raising her arm to stop the flying snow from spraying all over her face.
'I know,' Laur replied, looking around the tavern. This place was really boring, and Laur didn't know why they even came here anymore.
'Come on, let's find a seat at the bar,' London said, walking past Laur and taking an open stool at the bar. Laur followed behind, sitting down and attempting to get comfortable. He hated these floors, but like always, he would deal.
"Usual?" the bartender asked as he continued to clean glasses.
"Usual," London repeated, taking a look down the bar. She saw someone sitting there without a drink, and started to feel...well, sort of bad for the guy. What was the point of being at a bar without a drink?
"Hey," she said lightly, but loud enough for him to hear, "You want something?"

Re: Arfgar
Henry peeked into the Tavern. He sighed with relief. No one in there knew who he was. No one in there was from Earalas. No one in there knew Henry McCall was in a bar. "Good."
Henry, Abby purred from inside Henry's warm jacket, Why are we here? Her furry head poked out as she examined her surroundings.
Because it's too cold to go anywhere too far away.
What about Nana's? Abby asked.
Nana will be asleep. I don't want to wake her up.
Oh.
Henry slipped in and ordered some chicken soup for himself, and warm milk for his cat companion. He nestled himself and Abby into a cozy chair to warm himself by the charred remains of an assumingly warm fire.

Avery looked over to see a girl (who looked vaguely familiar) looking at him. She was sort of pretty and the fact that she was offering to buy him a drink didn't hurt.
"Yeah, sure..." he replied casually. She was probably going to hit on him. Why else would you buy someone a drink unless you wanted in their pants? He moved down a seat so he was sitting next to her and looked her up and down. He knew her from somewhere... "You know, you look really familiar."

Re: Arfgar
London turned and looked to the door as someone else entered. He was pretty adorable...
'London, pay attention,' Laur said, 'that guy sat next to you.' London blinked and looked back to the guy now sitting next to her, which was surprising. She didn't remember inviting him to sit next to her. Oh well.
When he mentioned that she looked familiar, she realized that she felt the same about him. Why did he look familiar? And if she looked familiar to him...did they know each other?
"Yeah, you look pretty familiar, too...who are you?"
'You're so polite, introducing yourself first,' Laur said.
'Who cares? I just want to know who this guy is...'
She couldn't help but shoot a quick glance at the other boy who had walked in, but quickly avoided any eye contact and looked back to the guy next to her.

Henry looked around. The girl in there was looking at him. Did he know her?
"Oh, shit." He said, under his breath. If she did and she told people that the Overloridian of Earlas was in a bar, he was not going to get anywhere.
He kept his gaze away from her, trying not to get nervous, trying to think of anything except for her. She was beautiful. He wished he knew her.
Mm, Henry, this milk is amazing. Abby purred at him. Eat your soup, silly, it's getting cold!

"Avery Hampton," he replied, after whatsherface returned his "you look familar." He had met a lot of people and never bothered to remember names or faces, so chances are he did know her. Maybe he'd remember her name if he heard it? "What about you?"
He was distracted by the boy who had come in and sat down. He was...eating soup. Who the hell orders soup at a bar? A guy who probably wasn't worth talking to. Avery quickly turned his attention back to Familiar Girl.
Y'know now that you mention it, I think I recognize that daemon... Vi said slowly, tilting her head to the side.

'Crap, he looked at me,' London said to Laur, mentally slapping herself in the face.
'It's fine, just introduce yourself to the guy you're actually having somewhat of a conversation with,' Laur replied, looking at Avery's daemon as she looked at him, cocking his head right back at her.
"London Louis," she said right as the bartender slid their drinks over to them.
"I just got the guy something random," he said with a shrug.
"Is that alright? If not, I'll drink it," she said, wrapping her fingers around her glass, bringing it to her lips and taking a sip. Yummeh. She put the glass back on the bar before sliding her fingers softly around the edge of it, trying to figure out how she knew this guy. Avery Hampton didn't sound too familiar...

Re: Arfgar
Henry took a spoonful of soup, and sipping it as quietly as he could. He didn't feel so hungry anymore. Or as self concious. He peeled of his snow soaked red sweatshirt and nestled back into the corner of the comfy chair.
Abby curled up next to his leg, her milk bowl empty on the table. She purred loudly, kneading his leg. He rested his head on the back of the couch. He wished he had a blanket. A burst of heat washed over him.
He opened one eye and looked at the pretty girl sitting next to Avery. He hoped Avery wouldn't sleep with the pretty girl. She was too beautiful... Henry knew of Avery. His good friend Lucas's friend Che used to date Aven who has a history with Avery. (Haha.)
