Weathered.

Addison sighed as he walked through Froom Valley. He never had anyone to hang out with. There was this amazing storm, and he had no one to share it with. He let the rain fall all over his body, feeling each drop glide to a new destination. He could feel the prescence of each drop; storms always did that to him.

He shook his head vigorously, feeling his soaking hair slap him in the face in every direction. He loved the feeling of wet hair. He loved everything involving water. Growing up in Ughdarras does that to you.

He kept his hands in the pockets of his long coat as he took his usual walk around everywhere, looking up as the sky cried.

"You're depressing," Llyr said, walking a few feet behind her clio. "I love you to death, but you need to cheer up."

As the sky was crying, so was Alecis. Her tears mixed with the rain drops that scattered across her face, swirling into a stream of salty wetness.

She often came to Froom Valley, but this was the first time in a while. Lately she had been steering clear of it--she had met Rowan here one to many times. Today though, something drew her here. Perhaps it was the storm, the high winds were blowing all around her, making the rain swirl and slash. But it could have been the need for closure. For knowing that she couldn't hurt Charlie anymore. She needed to stop liking Rowan and she needed to stop now. It didn't matter if Rowan and Charlie stayed together or not, it wasn't fair if Alecis liked him. She still felt it was backstabbing.

So, alone, with only her dæmon at her side, Alecis walked through the windy, rainy valley.

'Hey, Addison,' Llyr said, stopping and looking to t he left of the two of them. 'Addison, there's a girl over there.'

'That's nice,' he replied. He really had no desire to go and bother some random innocent clio who probably didn't want to be disturbed by a fool like himself.

'You should go say hi. Maybe that'll cheer you up a bit.'

'No, no. I couldn't do that.' He really wanted to, but the thought of rejection of friendship alone kept him from doing so.

'I'll make you do that,' Llyr said. She started walking towards the girl and her daemon, not giving her clio a choice in the matter.

'Llyr, stop playing around...really...Llyr...' Addison said, trying to get his daemon to stop. If she went too far, he'd be forced to follow. Then again, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. What if they became friends? It would be nice to have a friend. As Llyr continued to walk towards the girl (and the only reason she even continued was because she knew that deep inside, Addison did want to talk to the girl), he became less and less reluctant to go and talk to her. It couldn't turn out that bad, right?

'There you go. You're pretty close now. Just talk to her,' Llry said, nudging Addison's leg with her nose and pushing him a little closer. He stepped foward a few steps, practically standing right in the way of where she was headed.

"Uhm...uh...hello," he said quietly. "Nice storm we're having, hm?" He smiled, unsure if he was doing a good job or not. Was he being too weird?

'You're doing fine,' Llyr said from behind.

Alecis quickly wiped the tears from her face, not thinking of the fact that with the rain no one would be able to see her crying, before looking into the face of whoever had spoken to her.

It was a man she had never met.

"Uhm...uh...hello, Nice storm we're having, hm?"

Okay, kinda weird for a first sentence, having never met this guy before, but hey, whatever.

She nodded, looking at him questioningly, "Have I met you before?"

'That was a little rude' Rheis replied.

So she added, "I'm Alecis."
