She had to escape it all. Everyone coming up to her and wishing her a happy birthday. Sure it was cool the first fifty times but after that it just got annoying. The minute she stepped out into her kingdom it all came flooding. But it didn't matter now for she was alone.

She entered the cave where the whirlpool was and walked about five minutes until she reached it. Good. No one else was there.

She took the towel that was slung across her shoulders and layed it down and sat on it. She looked up at the ceiling and the various holes letting the light in and listened to the violent splash of the water against of walls of the whirlpool. This is a good place to hide out, she thought.

Teleaden was a few feet away playing with the dogs. He would take turns jumping on each of their backs. They were getting annoyed.

Tel, stop being foolish, commanded Goruhana

But Tel ingnored her and continued his fun. Goruhana rolled her eyes and lay back down. She would go in the water soon. She was up for an adventure, especially on her eighteenth birthday.

Indary was doing what he did best. Annoying and irritating Ranuki. Of course he was laughing his head off as he ran from the highly angered Ranuki who currently had mud covering her from head to toe.

"When I get my hands on you..!" Ranuki growled, unheeding of where she and Indary where.

"You'll have to catch me first!" Indary barked back, enjoying himself. He knew that in end Ranuki would realize how much fun she was really having. 'A cave! The perfect place to hide!' Indary thought to himself in triumph.

Goruhana thought she heard something off in the distance.It couldn't be Tel or the dogs because they were all sleeping. They were actually sleeping together and it was the cutest thing. She got up and looked around but could see nothing. She figured she was imagining things. She lay back down on her towel and continued to relax, when she heard another noise.

Indary gave a mental laugh as he burst into the cave, running down the tunnel. He could hear Ranuki gaining so he sped up. Once he entered an area of the cave which opened up he dived to the side only to come face to face with a strange clio.

Caught by surprise, Indary almost missed it when Ranuki burst into the cave and soon skidded on some wet rock, falling with a splash into the swirling waters. "Uh, hi?" Indary nervously greeted.

"Uh hi," replied Goruhana wearily after laughing at the clio. She knew it was rude but she couldn't help it and besides she didn't look like she'd gotten hurt or anything. She'd never seen this clio before, which meant that she wasn't part of her own Eilemaiden. More reason to be weary of the clio and her daemon.

Goruhana got to her feet. She felt like she should ask. "Are you okay?"

Letting out a gasp, Ranuki narrowed her eyes before swimming to shore, the current taking her a little ways away from Indary and a new clio. Pulling herself onto the shore, Ranuki proceeded to slowly walk back to her daemon, wringing out her hair and clothes as best as she could. Coming to a halt before the clio, Ranuki politely greeted her.

'Hmm. I don't know this clio. She's definitely not Deilig.'

"Hello. I'm Ranuki, and this irritating daemon is Indary. Who might you be?"

'Best to be polite... one never knows whom they are talking to, after all.'

'Are you going to kill me now?' Indary asked, pretending to be chastised.

'Don't give me that act. I know you enjoyed that. Just be glad I'm not muddy anymore.'

"Well hello Ranuki and irriating daemon Induary" Goruhana replied with a little laugh and continued, "Im Goruhana and this is Teleaden," as she motioned to the lemur. She also introduced the dogs as her three silly puppies.

Ranuki relaxed marginally. 'She seems nice enough. But if I'm right, she's an overloridian.'

"Goruhana as in the Aite Overloridian?"

Indary padded back to Ranuki's side, still pleased with himself; it could easily be seen.

"Yep that's right. I've never seen you around though so your gonna have to fill me in about yourself"

Teleaden got up from the ground and started to Goruhana. As he walked past Ranuki though, he slipped on one of the wet rocks.

Goruhana was on her feet and ran over to him. "Oh my, Tel are you okay?"

"Yeah im fine" Tel replied. He was on his feet agian. He wipped past Goruhana to sit on her towel, but as he did his long tail tripped Goruhana and she fell to the ground. Once on the ground Goruhana took a minute to examine herself. She was fine. She just had a gash on her arms but nothing more. Nothing brutal. She was gonna kill that silly daemon of hers....or at least make him pay.

Ranuki hid the slight grin that came to her lips. She could tell that the overloridian hadn't suffered any serious harm. It wasn't everyday you saw an overloridian fall or some such thing. Generally, they seemed to try and keep their poise and what not. Holding out a hand to Goruhana, Ranuki introduced herself.

"Ranuki Kinrivet, Deilig Eilemaiden."

"Uh nice to meet you," replied Goruhana as she got up from the ground. Once up she turned to the other clio and shook hands with her then started to brush off some stones from her legs. She looked back up at Ranuki and smiled.

"Come here to escape, I presume? After all, it isn't like it's overly sunny in here." Ranuki knew just like many others that the Aite Overloridian was having a birthday today.

"Yes. That's it exactly," Goruhana smiled again. Ranuki seemed very nice, even if she wasn't Aite. "Well im actually getting kinda thirsty," said Goruhana, "I think im gonna head over to The Tavern."

Goruhana walked to her towel and picked it up, forcing Tel off of it.

"Very well then. I will most likely see you later." With a small smile and a nod to the departing clio and her companions, Ranuki turned to Indary, smirking.

'Hey, why are you looking at me like that?' Indary asked, backing up slightly.

Soon a loud splash and a yelp was heard, along with satisfied, dark laughter.

Goruhan laughed. "Alright guys. I'll see you later."

And Goruhana was off
