i'm bored. [who ever.]

It had been a while since Giovanna was last seen at Casa Nova, and she thought it would be nice to get in from the cold, with a warm cup of hot chocolate, a donut, and get some good reading done.

Giovanna came in, wearing a pair of tight jeans, high heals, a winter coat with a furry hood, and a scarf wrapped around her neck. Giovanna was a freeze baby. She aproached the counter with her nose in the air as usual, ordered a cup of hot chocolate, and a glazed donut.

Once she got her donut and hot chocolate, she sat at a small round table, took a small nibble at her donut, then began to read the book she brought along with her.

Allegra jumped on the table, shut her eyes, and relaxed.

Lucas had seen the pretty clio come in. He recognized her from the night at the gay clio club. He was rubbing a table down for the next customers.

He knew she was a boy. She had told them at the meeting. He smiled to himself, thinking about that meeting.

"Lucas!"
"Yeah, boss?"
"Take a break, let Hayley make some money, okay, pal?"
"Alright."

Lucas tossed his damp towel over his shoulder and went over to her. No one else was in there he knew, so he figured he woult talk to her.

"Hello," he said to her, smiling politely. "How is everything, ma'am?"

Taken aback from being called, "ma'am" Giovanna didn't know what to say at first. Nobody respected her like that! She looked up at the polite clio and saw it was one of the boys from GLBT.

Quickly she smiled and said, "Everything is quite well, thank you!"

Giovanna was in a real good mood now. "Would you like to sit down?" she asked pointing to the chair across from her.

Lucas' smile grew to a genuine one. A natural, day-off, smile. "Yeah, sure!" He nodded, pulling the chair away from the table and sitting down in it, heavily. "Thanks," he grinned, pulling his towel off of his shoulder and resting it across his leg.

"How are you doing?"

She smiled as Lucas sat down. That's it! Lucas was his name! Giovanna smiled to herself as well. She studied his face, even though he was one year older than her, he looked so much younger, he was adorable!

"How are you doing?"

"I'm doing fine! Thank you!" replied Giovanna, "How about yourself?" she asked.

Lucas blushed as he noticed her studying his face. He rubbed it self-conciously. "Do I have something on my face?" He asked, taking care to especially rub his mouth, in case remnants of lunch were present.

"I'm doing okay." He grinned, "I'm working. Well, now I'm on break, but I'm at work. Same old, same old."

Giovanna giggled to herself as Lucas rubbed his face self-conciously. "No, there's nothing on your face. Just a bunch of cuteness." Giovanna had said.

"Work. I don't like to work. I like to lay around." she said.

Allegra started to purr softly.

Lucas smiled. "Thanks," he said, "yours too."

"Well, I probably wouldn't like to work if my grandparents had forced me to. They're no longer around, but they kind of...spoiled me. So when I settled, I decided to go out and return the favor. I liked providing for them. Now that it's just me, I use my money for myself, I suppose. I go out with my best friend, Henry, some times, and sometimes I go out with my friend London or my kinda-boyfriend Eli."

He grinned. "I work so much, I've always got a little bit of money on me."

Giovanna smiled back. Of course I'm cute you silly boy! she thought to herself.

"I get my money from my parents, they love me so much! I love them too of course." she said.

Yeah, and you always spend it on clothes, Allegra said.

Giovanna ignored her, and smiled at Lucas again.

Lucas grinned. "I bet my parents loved me. I never met them. They gave me to my grandparents. I know they loved me."

He liked hearing about her family, he supposed. But he didn't know what else to say. "That's good, I loved my grandparents..."

His parents gave him away? thought Giovanna, Why would they ever do that?

This Lucas was so adorable! She just wanted to squeeze him until his eyeballs popped out!

"What were your grandparents like?" she asked.

Lucas shrugged. "They made it so I could have what I wanted, but within moderation, so I could handle my own when I was on my own. They told me I had to get a job as soon as I was allowed. My grandma's friend had a grandson as well, who I met when I was younger. Henry, so now, we're best friends. My grandpa was really good with his hands. He always made wooden things for me to use or play with. He was really creative."

He smiled. "They really were wonderful."

Giovanna smiled back and said, "They sound really wonderful."

Giovanna took a sip of her hot chocolate, which was now moderatly warm.

"I wish my grandpa was creative." said Giovanna, "All he ever does is sleep and snore loudly. My grandma on the other hand is the creative one. She makes all sorts of clothes for me!" she finished.

Giovanna picked up her donut, took a bite, and set it back down.

Lucas smiled. "Oh, they were."

He laughed listening about her grandparents. "Well, my grandpa never actually approved of my dating boys. The last one I was with before they died was Aven. You remember, that goofy boy from the GLBT group? Grandma was alright with it. By alright, I mean lukewarm, but more so than Grandpa. She absolutely adored Aven though." Lucas laughed, remembering, "She would fawn over him all day. Feed him cookies, and milk, and all sorts of things, which I remember Aven loved. I think she did it because she knew Aven made me happy and she wanted to make me happy."

He sighed, stroking Imogene's soft feathers. She lifted her head from her light doze in surprise. "He made me very happy."

With a smile on her face still, she listened to Lucas' story about Aven.

"I've never dated anybody. I guess it's because I'm so mean, it scares people. I was interested in one boy though. Cho, from GLBT, he had come with me. I haven't seen him around in a while. I gave up." Giovanna said.

She shrugged and bit off another piece of the donut.

(DELETE ME.)

Lucas tilted his head curiously. "Cho?"

He thought a moment. "Oh, Che." Lucas smiled. "He's in here some times. We've been friends for awhile. If its any consolation, I haven't seen him around, either."

Lucas grinned and repositioned himself in the chair. "Good luck with him. He can be a little hard to read. But he is really nice."

"Aha! I can't believe I forgot the poor boys name! See, I told you I haven't seen him in a long time. I bet I'll remember yours though," Giovanna said.

Never one to judge, Lucas smiled. "It's alright. I can try and get ahold of him if you want me to, but like I said, I haven't seen him lately either."

He laughed, "Don't make any special efforts on my account."

Thinking for a moment, Giovanna thought of a way to get ahold of Che again. Then she said, "Maybe we could go on a man hunt together!"

Giovanna was almost half serious.
