The Lake

Lior looked at her and smiled. "No, I've never flown."
'Lior?' Myrrh looked up at his clio, "Please..."
"As a matter of fact, I-" Lior continued, interrupted again.
'Please, you don't fly. Lior, I'm scared.'
"I was thinking about learning," Lior teased.
"No. You. Weren't." Myrrh begged, out loud.
Lior took a few more steps toward her, patting his reluctand daemon. "I'd be interested to try it."

"Are you, Charlie?" Aven smiled, looking at the other of the two clio, forgetting entirely about the curiousity he'd had about Rowan's relationships. "Again I say I'm not surprised."

Ra laughed in his ear. 'Aren't you jealous you're the only single one around? Everyone else is taken, so it's just you.'
'You're mean, Ra.' In reality, Aven really hadn't thought about it, but he wasn't jealous. It didn't bother him at all. Having someone might be nice, but Aven wasn't sure he wanted the commitment to a single clio.
Ra snickered again, 'It's what I do.'

Alecis smiled at the clio and his dæmon. It was natural to be scared, I mean, she would probably be scared if she couldn't control the air around her.

"Well, Leci said," we could just stay a few feet above the ground. So your dæmon doesn't have to even leave the ground."

This could be really fun.

Charlie giggled and nodded. It was so fun talking about her and Rowan without anyone knowing it. Though it did suck that they had to hide their relationship...ugh.

"Yeah, I'm seeing someone. He's okay," she joked, shrugging and laughing a little. She looked to Aven, blushing a little at his comment (not in a flirty way...just in an 'awwww, thanks' sorta way. actually...). "Awww, thanks Aven. What about you?" She would feel bad if he wasn't seeing anyone, but he seemed like a good, care-free guy, and hopefully wouldn't feel lonely or anything.

'Ahahahaha,' Nym snickered silently. 'You flattered her like crazy and all she says is you're "okay". Niiiice.'

'She was just joking,' Rowan mentally rolled his eyes.

'Keep telling yourself that,' Nym replied teasingly.

Charlie asked Aven about him, so Rowan didn't say anything while he waited for the answer.
